Establishment and Growth
Polestar Services Co., Ltd. is a Myanmar-based company with a diverse range of operations spanning travel, construction, education, automotive services, and caregiving. PST’s journey began with the establishment of its parent company, Myanmar Polestar DMC & MICE Management Co., Ltd founded in March 2001. This was followed by the formation of Jewel Palace Trading Co., Ltd. in the same year, expanding the group’s reach into new markets.
In 2002, Polestar Construction Co., Ltd. was established, bringing expertise in construction services to the group’s portfolio. Subsequently, Better Life Education Career Supporting Centre was founded in 2007, focusing on education and career development.
In 2012, Polestar AUTO Services Co., Ltd. was established, initially specializing in used car import services from Japan. Later, the company shifted its focus to human resource development and placement services, leading to a name change to Polestar Services Co., Ltd.
Partnerships and Collaborations
POLESTAR’s parent company, Myanmar Polestar DMC & MICE Management Co., Ltd., further strengthened its presence in the travel industry by forming a joint venture with JTB, a leading Japanese travel agency, in 2014, resulting in the establishment of JTB-POLESTAR.
Expanding its reach into the caregiving sector, POLESTAR partnered with the Japanese care facility operators, Sakura Community Service Co., Ltd. and Egao Ichiban Co., Ltd. to establish Polestar KAIGO Services Co., Ltd. in 2015.
POLESTAR has also forged partnerships with various dispatch agencies, including OCEAN ROAD Cooperative, ASSIST Cooperative, KAIGO.net Cooperative, SMILE BANK Cooperative, and HOKKAIDO KANKO Cooperative, to facilitate the placement of skilled workers and technical intern trainees in Japan.
Collaborating with the Japan Ryokan Association, POLESTAR has organized job fairs and other events to connect potential employees with opportunities in the traditional Japanese hotel industry.
